Work has started on moving the Keble Gates from their current location leading into the University Parks from Parks Road to a new location a short distance away, leading from the Parks into the landscaped area outside the Beecroft Building.
In due course the current gateway will be replaced with fencing, borders and trees. In the meantime a temporary gateway has been installed in the current location to allow continued access to the Parks until the new entrance is finished.
Further short-term closures will be required to complete the full programme works and further information will be provided in advance of these.
