On Saturday 7 December, the well-known Santa Run will returning to the University Parks, but this time as part of a brand-new bigger event – the Frosty 5k, with four themed zones; Ice, Fog, Fire and Snow. Some 1,500 Santas are expected to take part, with everything in aid of Helen & Douglas House. There will also be an Event Village with family activities including face painting, vintage fairground rides, seasonal food and drink and even an ice rink. The village will be open from 10am to 3pm.
