From historic university fixtures to informal community matches, sport has been at the heart of University Parks for over a century.

The grounds serve as the home of Oxford University Cricket Club, alongside hosting tennis, croquet, hockey, lacrosse, and both rugby codes.

These organised games are managed by Oxford University Sport who offer sporting opportunities to members of the collegiate university and to the community.

The areas allocated for Oxford University Sport may only be used for official matches and practice or by previous arrangement with Oxford University Sport.

There are also public pitches (marked in yellow on the Visitor Map) that are available for sports games.

Whether you are coming to watch an official university fixture or looking to use one of our public pitches, we hope you enjoy your visit.
