Sarcococca hookeriana digyna

Our plant of the week has quite the name! Sarcococca hookeriana digyna, also known as Sweet box or Christmas box, is a beautiful, low growing, evergreen shrub, with elegant, glossy, lance-shaped leaves. The white flowers are tinged with a hint of pink and sweetly scented and are followed by black berries. Tolerant of shady conditions it can be found along the South Lodge Border and the North Walk.
