The marquee is open from Monday – Friday 09.00–16.00. You must choose a time slot when booking.

The available time slots are

  • 09.00-12.00
  • 13:00 - 16:00

The gaps between sessions are needed for clearing and cleaning, unless you have booked for the whole day.

Evening bookings will be considered upon application.

The hire of the marquee itself is free, however there is a service charge from £200.

The marquee measures 9 x 94 metres with 24 metres of panoramic windows and can accommodate up to 150 people inside for a standing reception, or 96 people seated. It is open-sided and has an outside area so can accommodate more than 150 if the outside area is also used. Heras fencing will surround the marquee and the outdoor area allowing exclusive use of the area.

The marquee is supplied with 12 trestle tables and 150 chairs.

No power is supplied so no music can be played but you are welcome to bring games and entertainment.

Yes, the Parks public toilets are only a short distance from the marquee.

Waste disposal and cleaning will be provided, but to aid a prompt turnaround, it is your responsibility to ensure the marquee is left clean and tidy at the end of your session.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic food - please note, no barbecues are permitted unless provided by a professional caterer. You may arrange your own catering, but this will need to be approved by the Parks team in advance to ensure this is logistically suitable and does not impede on any of the parks restrictions. A list of recommended caterers can be provided on request.

You may bring your own alcohol for personal consumption but alcohol must not be sold.

We require three days’ notice for events. For more information, contact
